Ghanaian rap icon Okyeame Kwame has shared an emotional moment he experienced after listening to Black Sherif’s song “So It Goes” the first time.

Speaking in a recent interview, the veteran rapper revealed that he was in the studio working on his anti-galamsey song when his producer played Black Sherif’s then newly released Iron Boy album, just two days after it dropped.

According to Okyeame Kwame, the emotional weight and lyrical depth of “So It Goes” struck him deeply, leaving him in tears right inside the studio.

“First time I heard the song, I cried, yes. I was in the studio recording my song, Stop Galamsey, before we started. Abochi played the song, and the song touched me. I think he has released two or something,” he said.
