Black Sherif has emerged as the Most Promising Entertainer category at the 43rd edition of the International Reggae & World Music Award (IRAWMA) ceremony, which took place on Sunday, May 17, 2026, in Lauderhill, Florida.

Widely regarded as one of the biggest celebrations of reggae and world music culture, the IRAWMA brought together top names across reggae, dancehall, Afrobeat, Soca, and other international music genres for a night dedicated to honouring outstanding talents from around the world.

Black Sherif’s latest triumph highlights his growing global influence and the remarkable journey he has embarked on since bursting onto the music scene.
