Court documents cited in an ongoing cybercrime case have alleged that Stonebwoy's former social media manager, Casey Kobia, engaged blogger Webkid to publish derogatory content about the award-winning musician and his family on social media.
According to documents sighted by GhanaWeb, the issue came to light after Stonebwoy discovered in August 2025 that several music videos had been deleted from his official YouTube channel.
The document states that the musician subsequently conducted his own investigations and concluded that his former social media administrator and manager, Casey Kobia, was allegedly responsible for the deletion of the videos.
Here are the charges against blogger for posts targeting Stonebwoy
The court document further indicated that during investigations, it was discovered that Casey Kobia had contracted several bloggers, including “WebkidAfrica,” currently identified as the accused person, to publish photographs of Stonebwoy, his wife, and their children with derogatory captions across various social media platforms.
Part of the statement in the document read? "During investigation, it was disclosed that Casey Kobia had contracted some bloggers, including the accused person with the username webkidAfrika on X, to post pictures of the complainant, his wife and children with derogatory captions on the above platforms."
The allegations form part of the evidence presented in court and remain subject to judicial determination.
