Team Legal Wife, a social media fanbase known for supporting Akosua Serwaa, the first wife of late highlife legend Daddy Lumba, has questioned the presence of 2Pac during the posthumous Lifetime Achievement Award presentation at the Telecel Ghana Music Awards 2026.
In a video shared on TikTok on May 12, 2026, Samsonwaa, a member of the group called on Charterhouse, organisers of the awards, to explain whether 2Pac had been officially invited to accompany Daddy Lumba’s children to the stage.
“This is to TGMA organisers. Did you invite Daddy Lumba’s children only, or you included 2Pac? We need explanations. Was he there by invitation or not?” she queried.
She argued that 2Pac is not one of Daddy Lumba’s children and therefore his presence at the award presentation required clarification.
“If we, the team legal wives, decide to take this matter up, Charterhouse wouldn’t be able to contain us. So we want to know if you invited only the children to receive Daddy Lumba’s award because 2Pac is not part of the children,” Samsonwaa stated.
She further alleged that 2Pac’s attendance could be used to create the impression that he remains the head of the family in the ongoing legal disputes.
“The reason why 2Pac went to TGMAs is that when it’s time to go to court, it would look like he’s still the family head, that’s why he’s following the children up and down. Charterhouse, come and explain yourselves,” she claimed.

The group also referenced comments reportedly made by 2Pac concerning his nieces and called on him to explain what he meant.
“2Pac said things are not going well with his nieces and we want to know what he meant by that. What he said has a lot of meanings, so 2Pac should also explain himself to us,” she noted.
She added, “Where from the Hausa you spoke on stage? You want people to say you’re a gangster, but you’re not.”
Recently, Abusuapanyin Kofi Owusu, popularly known as ‘2Pac’, was destooled as the head of the Ekuana Royal Family of Parkoso and Nsuta.
He has since been replaced by Abusuapanyin Kwabena Brefo.
Following this development, Abusuapanyin Kofi Owusu’s camp organised a press conference to strongly debunk the reports surrounding his destoolment.
