Popular Ghanaian actress and media personality Nana Ama McBrown has sparked reactions on social media following some strong and emotional statements about her life and future.

Speaking while hosting Onua Show Time on April 27, 2026, the celebrated actress reflected on her journey, the hardships she has endured, and how those experiences have shaped her outlook on life.

According to her, turning 50 will mark a new chapter, one that many may not expect.

“Once I hit 50, the things I will do will shock everyone,” she said.

McBrown disclosed that her life has not been easy, noting that she has gone through a lot but has made it this far by God’s grace.

“I have suffered a lot in life and I’m here today because of God’s mercy,” she stated.

The actress further stated that as she grows older, she will no longer tolerate certain behaviours from people, especially those who speak to her disrespectfully.

“From 50 years and beyond, when you talk to me, I won’t mind you and you will be pained,” she shared.

She explained that with age comes wisdom and clarity, and by that time, she would be able to distinguish between genuine advice and jealousy.

“By that age, I will know who’s advising me and who’s jealous of me. I will take advice from those who will advise me. Whoever would talk to me anyhow, like I’m a child, I will use God to curse the person,” she noted.

The actress shared her desire to fully enjoy life in her later years, including travelling the world and exploring new opportunities.

“I will live life more, travel the world, explore new places and enjoy every moment. Life hasn’t been easy and everyone has something to say about life,” she said.

She also reflected on how the media landscape has evolved over the years, noting that things were much different when she started her career.

“When we started, it wasn’t like this era where TV stations and social media are all over and now, everyone can do something for themselves,” she added.
