Gospel musician Diana Asamoah has appealed to President John Dramani Mahama to consider her for a contract under his administration's Big Push infrastructure project.
In a video that has gone viral on social media, Diana Asamoah, speaking in an interview on Angel FM, pitched herself for the project, stating that she is Ghanaian and is capable.
"I am very serious. I am praying and pleading with President John Dramani Mahama to consider me in the Big Push Contract. I am also a Ghanaian, and I am fit to work," she said.
Diana Asamoah's appeal has since ignited reactions on social media, with many Ghanaians wondering why the gospel singer, who was a known supporter of the opposition NPP, is now appealing to the NDC president for a government contract.
Others also brought up allegations that Asamoah had once enjoyed a similar road contract under the previous NPP-led administration.
The Big Push is a flagship national infrastructure initiative launched by the Mahama administration, focusing on road network development across Ghana over five years with a reported investment of $10 billion.
