May they both rest in peace. But my question is why were they given a state burial especialky at the seat of government. I think the speaker of parliament explained that theboth dezerved national recognition due to not landing the micro plane on a field which had many person on it. If thats the reason for the state burial, then l can sight many other accidents where many lost their lives but were not given state burials. The youth girls and men who lost their lives waking up at dawn to queue for hours to sign up to enrol into our army to serve and defend our nation and us all, only for tĥe lack of effective crowd control and manpower failures causung their death. Mr speaker did those persons not need a national recognition and state sponsored burial too. Drivers who carry passengers at night, encountering armed robbers and they do their best to tey ezcape them to save their passengers. These drivers end up being shot but still continue driving to a safe location only to die from injuries and blood loss. But all passengers safe. Do these drivers not need recognition and and also a slice of the national cake of a state sp8nsored funeral even if its not atthe seat of government. It just seems you only get the benefits of recogonly if your family is wellknown or has political affiliation . This should stop. Every ghanaian in impirtant in the eyes of the constitution and law plus share of the national cake. I mortuary man who works for decades for example at the korle bu morgue which is not fit for any purposedies in the line of duty just because the hospital mortuary wasnt protecting them . He is left at his own fate, how sad. Zilch recognition, zero compensation to his family or towards a decent funeral. Much more for anyone at parliament or jubilee house to hear about it for the selfless sacrifices he or she done but failed over and over to get recognition. Let stop giving only a handful of people this so called recognition. We are all ghanaian
