Founder of Ebenezer Miracle Worship Centre in Kumasi, Reverend Ebenezer Adarkwa Yiadom, popularly known as Opambour, was seen in an emotional state as he paid tribute to his late elder sister, Sewaa.

In videos circulating on social media, Opambour appeared emotional while delivering a heartfelt tribute to his late sister.

The preacher struggled to hold back tears as they streamed down his face while he addressed mourners gathered to bid her farewell.

Several prominent personalities were present at the funeral grounds to commiserate with the preacher and his family.

Among those spotted were Chief of Staff Julius Debrah, Ashanti Regional Minister Dr Frank Amoakohene, NPP’s Ashanti Regional Chairman Bernard Antwi Boasiako popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, media personality Oheneni Adazoa and her husband, CEO of GoldBod Sammy Gyamfi, as well as Kumawood actors Salinko and Big Akwes.

In other videos sighted from the ceremony, pallbearers dressed in white long-sleeved shirts and black trousers were seen carrying Opambour’s late sister in a white coffin during the final rites.

Friends, family members and sympathisers gathered in large numbers to pay their last respects as the late Sewaa was laid to rest.

Opambour is a Ghanaian charismatic prophet and the founder of the Ebenezer Miracle Worship Centre in Kumasi.

He is known for leading a large congregation, he is also a well-known media figure who owns and operates Prophet 1 TV, a platform he uses for broadcasting his sermons, engaging audiences on social media, and showcasing aspects of his lifestyle.

Over the years, he has also gained attention for his outspoken prophecies, particularly those related to Ghanaian politics.

Opambour has frequently made public predictions about political developments in the country and has at times openly endorsed or prayed for political leaders, including President John Dramani Mahama.
