  Please the words of the original anthem as composed by Philip Gbeho were Lift high the flag of Ghana.....In our elementary school days we sang Lift high the flag of Ghana.... After the 24th February 1966 coup that overthrew President Nkrumah, the original words of the first stanza were replaced with God bless our home land Ghana.....

  VERY GREAT LEADERS TO BE HONOURED INDEED!!!!!!! THERE SHOULD BE HISTORY BOOKS FOR ALL GHANAIANS TO READ,ABOUT THEIR LEADERS WHO CONTRIBUTED A LOT IN DIFFERENT WAYS,THEY SHOULD BE REMEMBERED FOR THEIR ACHIEVEMENTS!!!!!!!
