  Marriage is of God and He will bless a marriage where a couple give Him first place in their lives. For any marriage to be successful both partners must be willing to put in the time, the effort, learn to overlook the faults of the other person but above all submit themselves to the commands of the Holy Scriptures. It is simply not enough to call yourself a Christian, go to church regularly, talk like a Christian, walk like a Christian or even dance and sing like a Christian. WHAT COUNTS IS THAT BOTH PARTNERS ARE "GIVERS" RATHER THAN "TAKERS" AND BOTH HONOUR THE MARITAL BED AS GOD REQUIRES. There must never be any third party (person) allowed in the marriage even if only emotionally. So, a husband cannot have a close female friend other than the wife, and neither can the wife have a close male friend other than the husband. GOD WILL BLESS AND HONOUR A COUPLE WHO HONOUR HIM BY FOLLOWING HIS COMMANDS WHOLE-HEARTEDLY.
  BY THE WAY THE HOT PASSIONATE PHYSICAL "LOVE" THAT MOST MARRIAGES START WITH TENDS TO FADE AWAY WITH TIME. IN A GROWING AND MATURING MARRIAGE THIS HOT PHYSICAL ATTRACTION IS GRADUALLY REPLACED BY A GROWING BOND OF COMPANIONSHIP AND FRIENDSHIP THAT GETS STRONGER AND STRONGER AS A COUPLE CONTINUE TO PERSEVERE IN THEIR MARRIAGE IN SPITE OF ALL KINDS OF DIFFICULTIES AND CHALLENGES.
  THE COMMONEST CAUSE OF MARRIAGE COLLAPSE OR FAILURE IS MONEY RELATED PROBLEMS. This is why a couple must learn to ECONOMIZE, BUDGET CAREFULLY AND RECOGNIZE THE IMPORTANCE OF WORKING HARD AND STRATEGICALLY SO THAT THEY CAN BECOME MORE AND MORE FINANCIALLY SECURE. A wise couple will save and invest their hard-earned money by investing in things or assets that hold their value or invest in a business. I have lost count of the number of very high earners who eventually retired broke because they lived a very wasteful lifestyle. They wasted a lot of money trying to impress people by having extravagant parties buying bling and expensive clothing, owning expensive cars etc and they never bothered to plan for their retirement by saving and investing in a business or in assets such as real estate. On the other hand, I also know of couples who started marriage with very small salaries but through careful planning, they saved their money, they worked hard and studied to improve their skill set so that they could get higher paying jobs. These wise souls also learned to invest to invest in assets that increase in value with time such as real estate (houses, properties) or simply invested in a business. One couple took more than 15 years to put up their first 3-bedroom house just outside one of our bigger towns. They put up a second duplex house 7 years later which they then rented out to tenants. TODAY THEY ARE COMFORTABLY RETIRED. IT IS NEVER TOO EARLY TO START PREPARING FOR RETIREMENT.

  I don't know why we still talk about these false prophets. The Bible is true that false prophets shall arise and that we get serious with God always.
