Ghanaians should know that it takes 2 people to make a marriage; it is not a 50:50 contribution but each person contributes 100 % (not 50 %!). The world where the man paid all the bills died decades ago; that means that in most cases each person should be bringing something to the pot (depending on the circumstances of each person), especially in the Ghana we have today. This probably means that it will be also beneficial to have a joint account for that purpose; no hiding of money from each other! If both of you do not trust each well enough to put all your bread in one basket, then you are both not good for each other. It is not a matter of somebody looking pretty or handsome. Marriage is about character and trust, Reverend, if these are not there, you can pay your bills but you do not have a marriage but a room mate! Tell that to your flock!
