Third is that trust is broken. Do you want to stay in such a marriage. This only you can decide.

And a piece of advice, when you marry someone that it that what ever state they are in, is what you will potentially have forever. Some change for good some for the bad.

Get it wrong and you could experience the worst unhappiness or misery of your life. THIS IS WHY YOUR CHOICE OF A FUTURE HUSBAND OR WIFE SHULD BE BASED FIRST AND FOREMOST ON THE PERSON’S CHARACTER.
THE CHARACTER OF YOUR POTENTIAL SPOUSE IS SHAPED BY THEIR VALUES. AND BELIEFS.
Do they understand the importance of working very hard and planning carefully to become successful and financially secure?
Do they have honesty and integrity in their dealings with others?
Do they treat others including yourself with respect and consideration?
Do they understand how important it is to be disciplined, live frugally (learn to budget and live within or even below their means), save and invest in things that increase with value with time?
Do they show gentleness and are they kind-hearted and generous by nature?
Are they truthful?

The ability to make a good choice starts with yourself. If you lack solid values then you will make poor or bad choices, so give top priority to fixing your own beliefs and values then you will be able to make wise choices.
You must never ever base your choice of a marriage partner SOLELY ON THEIR
WEALTH, POPULARITY OR SOCIAL STANDING, POSSESION OF A VERY DESIRABLE FOREIGN PASSPORT OR THEIR GOOD LOOKS.
These are very desirable things if a future spouse has them, but you should only view them as of SECONDARY importance rather than of PRIMARY importance. They are a bonus if they are there. You should marry someone you enjoy being with and there is nothing wrong with but WHAT MATTERS MOST IS THEIR CHARACTER!

What you did was beg him for marriage, you begged with your actions buy funneling money through him to pay for the wedding items. He is an opportunist and a scammer. It hurts but accept that he and the money is gone. He is not your husband in heart, spirit or mind. He is a user who used you to better his life. Cutcyour losses. Divorce him and wait for God to bring the correct life partner into your life. Marriage is not dependent on age dear. You paid the price for bowing to society pressure and impatience.
