How and on what grounds would the police hold anyone on defamatory allegations? Ghana Police knows that slander and whatever you consider defamatory, is a civil matter. You can only sue for redress Mzbel.
You can be arrested for anything, but you CAN NOT be held for more than 24hrs without charges.
