  Just as hotels take security deposit against damages. Before a permit is issued deposit should be required from event organizers. Deposit is returned after inspection and event ground is cleaned.

  Agreed. Event organizers require a permit from the city or district govt. They must pay a deposit n sign to restore the venue to its former state prior to the event. You don't see trash bins on the streets of accra. Those lar ...

  Agreed. Event organizers require a permit from the city or district govt. They must pay a deposit n sign to restore the venue to its former state prior to the event. You don't see trash bins on the streets of accra. Those large heavy oil barrels paint the bright white or yellow or neon green and leave them at these events or at market centers and busy pedestrian area and then after 8pm you have trucks that run through each h enclave emptying the trash bins. Go to the cleanest cities in Africa n learn from them

  An example of a foolish leader. If the event organizers can't pay to clean up the venue BEFORE, DURING AND AFTER the event n restore the venue back to where it was prior. Then they don't have any business organizing events. Ppl in gh don't think they wake up and want so.ething for nothing. They have jobs but are not willing to work dutifully. They are greedy the want something without earning. The sanitation fee must be included in the fee. These event organizers pay taxes and earn revenue as entrepreneurs therefore the state/district govt is NOT responsible for cleaning up after any event. Let this be explicitly spelt out in the contract

  I wonder if there is a contract between the organizers and the local government but if there's, organizers should deposit cleaning up and damage fees after the event.

  Just let them pay up a deposit of up to two times the cost to clean up by the renter of the event center. If they clean up to your satisfaction, then you return the deposit to them or use as much of the money to do the cleanu ...

  Just let them pay up a deposit of up to two times the cost to clean up by the renter of the event center. If they clean up to your satisfaction, then you return the deposit to them or use as much of the money to do the cleanup yourself and give the event organizer the remaining balance.
