The friends you make at school, colleges and universities are mostly temporary, so don't let those friends change the values your family have instill in you.

After education those friends you will not keep in contact that frequently. They become people you knew.

You have learnt the hard way but I pray that God be with you throythis journey of yours.

Sorry for your story. I believe you have learnt your lesson now, and sorry that you have learnt it rather in a bitter way. The Bible says curse is anyone who puts his or her trust in friends and other human being. The only one you have to trust is God, your heavenly Father. Now that you know your status, take your medication serious. You are still young so be careful not to spread it to other people because you need the mercy of God the most in this situation and He is watching you in whatever you are doing. Well, as you clearly stated Hiv is not a death sentence, but the mistake you made was when you told them about your status, This could have been kept secret by you without telling anyone, you were lose in your statements and now they are using it to mock at you on campus, Do you think you were the only one who got infected among your group, i am assuming without admitting that many may have been infected but kept it secret from you. But you decided to broke your news to them. i will assume that you were being stupid by telling them my dear, it's too late to correct things, but let it be a lesson to you in future, i wish you all the best and be serious with your treatment ok, i live in south africa and over here Hiv is nothing because people are not isolated because they are infected, These is happening because Ghana is still a developing nation, in the developed countries people with Hiv are never isolated, in south Africa i can tell you that about 85pecent of the women are Hiv positive and yet we still date them but protect when ever we wanna make love,
