Put their names on it and let them understand that you're the one chopping the proceeds and they can come in after your death. If you don't trust them not to sell or take the properties from you then its not worth willing to them in the first place. Life is short.

Properties, if you have the means help them financially to work on their own and don't amass wealth for them to come fight over. It is total vanity and disgrace to the family.

We don't often want to say this about the departed but sometimes painful truths have to be highlighted so that future generations don't make the same stupid mistakes. Greedy ambition on the part of some of these women has led them to the trouble they are now in. As usual the only people going to benefit from all this without any adverse or negative consequences are the lawyers.

In today's society, one would think that with this constant claims by family members when a man dies that a woman was not married to the man, the Ghana government will institute a traditional marriage registry that will will register all customary marriages as well as dissolutions of these these customary marriages. All these unnecessary marital claims are clogging the courts and wasting resources. A traditional marriage registry would provide proof of date of marriage once the customary performances have been completed, as well as a date of dissolution when the steps have been taken to finalize the end of the marriage.
