The same people will come back advocating that government should do something about hair styles in schools if it is decided that students can grow their hair in school. The most annoying thing is we've forgotten who will be responsible in platting their hair in school. I never had a problem with hair do in school when my daughters were in school. We did same when teachers were prevented from disciplining students. We ended up in stabbings, beatings and misbehaving in schools then we started calling on GES to do something. Don't let's not be emotional but critical.

With the rigour of academic work, coupled with the demanding boarding house life, how much time will these children spend with their books? Some of you just want to be relevant so you just latch onto any captivating topic, hoping to trend. Nonsense. Weren't you in the Ghana school system to know first hand how tough things are in there? Go to those international schools where these things are allowed and you'll see that most of the children are day students. Those in the hostels too have access to on-campus salons or parents come to pick them during weekends etc. Can the state schools match up these logistics of international schools? Yua maaf. Get lost and go get a better job. Yakame.

The Chinese are doing so well today because they have a disciplined society with ambitious and visionary leaders who who do not plunder and loot but rather engage in nation-building. Nor do the Chinese impose unnecessary hair style edicts on their high schoolers.
