  The German Embassy has clarified that its confirmation of the marriage holds no legal weight if a Ghanaian court upholds the nullification of the customary marriage. In such a case, the German administration would be unable to retroactively register the divorce in its records, as this aligns with the applicable legal framework. Ghana recognizes both ordinance and customary marriages, and if a court of competent jurisdiction in Ghana determines that Akosua Serwaa and Lumba dissolved their customary marriage, the dissolution is legally binding.
  
  If Lumba married Odo Broni before the customary marriage was dissolved, this would constitute bigamy under Ghanaian law. However, if the marriage to Odo Broni occurred after the dissolution, Odo Broni may proceed to regularize the marriage and assume legal rights, such as next-of-kin status or other entitlements.

  17years of vacating her spousal duty is a good grounds for ex-party divorce certificate .
  all that Akosua Serwaa is doing is for widowhood benefits in Germany.-
  if I am a member of Lumba family, if Akosua Serwaa collect even $1 in the name of Lumba wh needed her the most when he Lumba was sick for the past years she did not care about his sickness but want to use his dead for a benefit- curses upon curses would wipe all of them from the surface of this earth

  Akosua Serwaa is putting injunction on Dady Lumbas dead body by seeking these claims
  1. That she Akosua Serwaa is the only wife survived to perform widowhood and the etc as you all know
  
  The facts of the case is
  nobody is denying that Akosua Serwaa married to Lumba in some where 2004.
  so per the German records you would get those information on paper.
  The bone of contention here is
  
  1. The head of Dady lumba family is claiming that -
  a) you Akosua Serwaa has no capacity to put the funeral and the burial of lumba on hold because Funeral is tradition and culture,
  and for the records - you Akosua sera has presented the Drinks back to Lumba and his family signifying the dissolution of the traditional marriage between you and Lumba- therefor you have no capacity to make those claims or dictate to the family as to who qualifies to perform the widowhood .
  
  As the head of the lumba family Abusuapani Kofi Owusu has every RIGHT to reject you Akosua Serwaa as a widow to the late Dady lumba and no court in Ghana could over turn his decision because the dead body of lumba belongs to him , and it is his duty to burry and perform the funeral of lumba.
  
  This paper hold no legal weight because Akosua sera has divorce lumba traditionally.
  what the illiterates and their dumbas lawyer are refusing to understand is that
  Funeral is traditional. and culture . so if you divorce your spouse traditionally the Traditional authority of your spouse hold the Traditional Rights to either invite you to the funeral or bar you from the funeral.
  
  in summary
  Akosua Serwaa has pointed her greedy gun to early than she should.
  Akosua Serwaa has no traditional duty to perform at the funeral of the man she has traditionally divorced.
  2. The dead man lawyers are saying -
  after the traditional actions of Akosua serwaa she took legal actions too.
  by instructing her lawyers to write to lumba by given him 10days for a response , if not she would go for ex-party divorce, which lumba ask her to go ahead.
  
  so for day lumba to publicly declare Odo Broni as his current wife, he knew Akosua serwaaa has divorced him.
  legally
  if you desert your spouse for more than 2 years without performing any marriage duty, tier marriage is deemed broken. so Akosua sera should top to where she signed the marriage certificate to collect a divorce certificate because the marriage was broken before the man died.
  
  The lega question wise people are asking Akosua Serwaa is this
  in ordinance marriage if you spouse marry another person- you hold the right
  to report the spouse for bigamy and you are entitled for whatever claims you may request.
  why do Akosua Serwaa failed to report lumba for committing bigamy ?
  The Answer is simple
  it is all because when lumba was alive Akosua serwaa knew there is no marriage between them, she Akosua sera has divorced lumba both traditionally and her legal actions of desertion .

  she Akosuah Serwaa listed some properties that are own by DL,
  
  if it was her money that was used to buy that German house, why did she Akosua Serwaa named it among Lumba Properties ?
  non of the two Odo Broni or Abusuapanin is interested in lumba properties in Germany- she could take them, but don't bring that nonsense here in Ghana.

Lumba had never worked in Germany. Arguably, he might have have got some few couns from the musics but Studio ,Musics and his welfare were paid by Akosua Serwaah.
