Praying before engaging in a sinful act is more of an insult to God. It doesn't suddenly become okay because you 'prayed'. It's even more wicked. Come on, you can do better than that.

There is a documentary on YouTube about hired killers who operate in South Africa. In one of the interviews the hired assassin says that he always prays to "God" asking for forgiveness for the heinous act he is about to commit. We are living in a truly sick world. The same attitude is prevalent in some parts of Latin America where drug cartels operate. Again I have seen documentaries in which drug criminals pray (usually before the image of their patron saint) then they go out to commit a crime.

The only prayer of a sinner that God listens to that I'm aware of in scripture is a prayer of repentance, found in John 18:9-14. God does not answer prayers of wicked people when they have no intentions of turning from their wickedness, and He definitely doesn't answer their prayers to help them do evil as this is against His character. Unfortunately, a lot of people don't understand God because they don't take time to study His word and then they come up with all sorts of weird ideas about who they think He is.
