What do you mean by unnecessary stuff? Do you expect all ghanaians to do medicine,engineering ,space science,etc,etc? Go to all the developed countries archeology history,geography,etc,etc are studied in their Universities. The important thing is for our governments to lay emphasis on promoting a development agenda based on the use of scientific and technological knowledge. Japan is an example of a nation that uses science and technology to promote its development agenda and look at where Japan is now. Until recently Japan was the second largest economy in the world. It achieved that through the application of science and technology. This is what must be done by our development planners.
