Something is wrong somewhere with Kofi Eiphos. Galamsey was exacerbated by the NPP where even those in the then Jubilee House were cited by the Prof Frimpong Report. Has this this man ever heard of Chairman Wontumi of the NPP and his role in forest devastation in Ghana? Let's examine the thought-frame of Kofi Eiphol. Why is he blaming the NDC? The NDC has just been ushered in in January with the task of stabilising the economy and arresting the galamsey terrorism. He forgot to note that the galamsey in our forests and water bodies festered over eight years and would take money and time to stop it. But the question is when the NPP quickly passed the act, Act 2462, opening our forest gates to mining, where was Kofi Eiphos? Where was he? He has a weak mind-power. Even if he belongs to the nation wreckers, he must be bold and pin-point the main culprit of this devastating threat but not to say NDC was complicit. He should tell us how NDC is playing politics with this issue. At any rate, if the man is not abreast with developments in the mining sector, he should focus on his music. I wish him well, though.
