When the Asantes through their heists invaded Jaman, they raided, plundered, pillaged all the betters of this unsuspecting flourishing kingdom. They did not only steal hard earned gold artefacts of the industrious Gyaman people, but it included the intellectual property, the Adinkrah symbols.
