  Nowadays anybody looking to be famous or who ends up being in the public eye (whether as a Politician, Famous artiste, Religious leader etc etc) must be prepared to endure being talked about in a negative way, lied about, have their mistakes and missteps highlighted, have their words twisted by jealous, hateful and malevolent people who wish them ill. About 30 to 40 years ago you could be famous in a relatively safe (or sterile) environment unless you did something really really stupid and got your name in the papers, radio or tv.
  Today if you are a prominent public figure you need more than ever before to watch what you say or what you do especially now that you are surrounded by literally thousands of audio and video recording devices (popularly known as mobile phones or cell phones). One careless word, one careless remark, one unwise and impulsive act or a lapse in behaviour could finish your career for good or cause severe reputational damage that could hinder your future career prospects or influence.
  Nowadays anybody sitting in any location such as Salaga, Asankragua, Suhum or Sogakope, who possesses a cell phone / mobile phone can post whatever they like about you on Social media and on the internet and in most cases there is nothing you can do about it.
  Part of true greatness (if we truly believe in our cause or purpose in life) is having the ability to rise above the negative chatter and noise around you.
  GREAT MEN AND WOMEN ARE LIKE EAGLES WHO SOAR HIGHER AND HIGHER UNTIL THEY ARE ABOVE THE REACH OF THEIR CRITICS ( CHICKENS ON THE GROUND). There are only a few instances where a great leader needs to directly take action against haters. It is vital to remember at all times that haters can be a very serious distraction pulling a person away from their true mission, goal or purpose . EVERY LEADER NEEDS TO CHOOSE THEIR BATTLES CAREFULLY. THEY NEED TO KNOW WHICH BATTLES TO FIGHT AND WHICH ONES TO IGNORE . WE ARE NOT CALLED TO FIGHT EVERY BATTLE THAT CROSSES OUR PATH.
  Finally in Psalm 23 of the Holy Scriptures, we are reminded that for the righteous man or woman God will over time lay a table before them in the presence of their enemies. Many believers gloss over this phrase but what does it mean? It means that your enemies are allowed by God to watch you eat (and may well continue to make negative comments about you for a season) but they will not be allowed to join you at the table as you feast sumptuously. In fact you will continue to increase even as they make their hateful comments. But remember that you must ignore the snarls and jealous comments of the naysayers and haters watching you eat. These envious folk may be friends, workmates or even family members.
  ABOVE ALL WE MUST MAKE ABSOLUTELY SURE THAT WE ARE SUBMITTING TO GOD'S WILL AND MISSION FOR US RATHER THAN PERSUING OUR OWN AGGRANDISSEMENT AND GLORY. FOR THE TRUE BELIEVER ,THE SAFEST PLACE TO BE IS ALWAYS TO BE IN THE WILL OF GOD AND ALIGN OUR WAYS WITH HIS WILL FOR US.
