STOP THIS LUMBA NONSENSE- Ghanawatch 1 year ago
Did Lumba work for Ghanaians or for himself? Why too much noise about his death? Leave the family to grieve and bury him. It seems Ghanaians have nothing better to do apart from deifying the dead. Stupid!!!

This growing trend of dragging out funeral rituals has become both wasteful and impractical. The original purpose of a “one-week” observance was to offer a brief moment of mourning and gathering—not to host another major event weeks after someone’s death.
We keep saying we don’t have time or money, yet we invest both in unnecessary ceremonies that don’t serve the majority. This August 30 event should be his burial, not a “one-week.” How long does it take to respectfully bury someone?
Let’s stop glorifying confusion and inefficiency in the name of culture.
Enough is enough. It’s time to abolish this one-week nonsense.

Please use the proper term "observance". What do you mean by "observation"? Check the dictionary for the meanings. If Ghanaweb cannot educate the readers, they should not pollute their minds.

One week "Observance" and not OBSERVATION.... In this day and age, there's no reason to not know.
