(2)New International Version
But the one who prophesies speaks to people for their strengthening, encouraging and comfort.

(3)New Living Translation
But one who prophesies strengthens others, encourages them, and comforts them.

THIS IS JUST THE ESSENCE OF PROPHECIES AND PROPHETS IN THE NEW TESTAMENT DISPENSATION: THREE THINGS
(i) EDIFICATION/ STRENGTHENING
(ii) EXHORTATION/ ENCOURAGEMENT
(iii) COMFORT
