  Government can’t fix everything. Government can’t provide all. When a Nikanika Operator retires, Banku and Kokompe Sellers don’t provide his entitlement. It all depends on how he managed finances in his youthful days. Footballers, Actors and Musicians enjoy good patronage and make money. It’s up to them to sort out how they’ll spend their old age. It’s not fair to Teachers, Fishermen and Market Women when we call on the State to selectively provide for others. GHAMRO is not a bank. It’s up to Kojo Antwi, Ambulley and Stata Wale to put something aside like all others. My Old Headteacher is not disturbing anyone to provide for him. The retired Tailor who clothed thousands is sitting quietly on his bench at his village, not expecting a visit by the President before he eats dinner. In brief, don’t set your mind on the State providing for you. Embrace private enterprise because state dependency will fail you.
