  He undoubtedly brought joy to many through music but a state funeral? We must not cheapen national honours. Lumba does not deserve it.
  
  There are many musicians who were at par or better than him and had huge impact in their time but were never given state funeral. Typical examples are Alex Konadu, Ampofo Adjei, AB Crentsil, Agyeman Opambuo.
  
  Will someone tell me that if Kofi Sammy passes on now (may God forbid), he will be given a state funeral?
  
  The state can help in some form.but not a state funeral.
  
  Let us stop such cheap stuff!

  DL death is really sad and everybody including our MP are crying But
  We've lost 16+ children through road accident and it seems nothing has happened in Ghana
