  Very silly judgement by the judge. Yes appeal. My problem is always on people who attend spiritual guys to seek money etc at this modern world. The judge didn't think twice on this sentence.

  It is about time our laws were enforced to deter criminals. Why on earth did we look on when people advertised a money doubling scheme openly? The only legal tender is the Cedi numbered, signed and printed by the Bank of Ghana. Who did we think was going to print those magic cedis?
  When the Defilement law started to be enforced, see how quickly we learned to leave the “aboa konkotibaas” alone.
  We need judges like our brave lady to enforce the anti galamsey laws.
  Enough of your “gyae ma nenka” and “enye whee”attitude. Her Ladyship is a fine judge! She only applied a sentence which the drafters of the law empowered her to apply.

  Mr lawyer, how much did you charge Agraada for your services as her defense counsel? Hope you charged her beyond Ghc500 since according to your plea the amount involved in her criminal activities was only Ghc540.

  This judgements been first of it kind is for the purpose of deterrent of which the lawyer knows of it.
