He wasn't alone . Madam Grace Omaboe also did. It is great we are not being asked to talk about some Michael Jackson.

Was the song played to all schools as part of the syllabus? Or did they assume every child listens to this song? Please, examiners be smart and stop this type of questions.

This an application question..... This allows every student to think outside the box.....
Besides, this is just a single sub question, all the 100% marks are not allocated to that one alone.
Students have several options to choose from...
Therefore is not a matter of being good in twi songs...
What about those whose English Proficiency is bad.
Education is not theory alone.... Basic Education is about exposure..... The child must be expose to the environment in which he/she lives in and the global world.
My experience in Europe, Children are not kept in class rooms, they are always hiking in the community. It will interest you how they're training these kids from the lowest grade to the highest grade (Exposure is key).
I hope my objection submission helps.
Thank you

The artiste may not be popular in every part of the country, let’s stop this urban/southern bias in our education.

Questions of this nature, grammar is not even necessary, examiners don't award marks based on grammar but, rather the points you bring out.
This is creative arts......

What of the student in a Non-Twi speaking area who doesn't understand Twi? How do you expect such a student to understand the song and be able to answer this question?

The question could have been framed in another way without mentioning the name of any musician. WAEC must be circumspect in setting up the questions.

Were the students made to analyse the song in class? The question is a bad one and should have given an excerpt translated in English to meet the different backgrounds of the learners.
