    Afrobeat was already popular in Ghana from 1997/1998. That’s why the Nigerians started by collaborating with the Ghanaians. Someone must tell him to stop lying.

    There’s isn’t a single song from Akon’s entire repertoire that’s close to Afro Beats. One Musician we forget often is Manu Dibango. Akon should go listen to this Master and retract his shameful claims.
