It's because marriage is a distraction and can turn one into an emotional wreck and a zombie. He instituted marriage and it has been so from ages. Marriage will regulate your life, without marriage, your life and your salvation may be jeopardised. My advice is that, get married traditionally. Forget court wedding. In my opinion, court wedding and ordinance marriages are actually our problems.

it is only those who want to have a wife and many side chicks who see marriage as slavery and think they are not happy, single parenting is never good for any man because you can't take care of your kids alone so please don't try that. if your father's marriage is that bad you would have known it long time ago and it wouldn't be him to tell you and he would even have left/divorced your mother long time. Your father may be part a certain secret society whose rules frowns on marriage and that is why he sees mariage in that light. When God created Adam he said it is not good for man to live alone so let us create his help meet, that is how come God created Eve for Adam so my friend, it is not good for you to live alone; you need your own help meet, your fresh of fresh and bone of bone so look for yours.

Human as we are, we are not perfect and in marriage, only few women disturb their husbands most of them when they get their mr right, they do their best to make their marriages work so look for your mrs right and with God on your side, everything will be fine, most couples are livig happily with their families so your father may not be right all.

In your vicinity how many couples do you see them having problems in their marriages,i guees few? All those arm robbers you see accross the country are due to proper care they didn't receive at home which led them into these menace so i'm sure you don't want to breed these criminals so please look for your mrs right and get married and with God on your side everything will be fine.
