All of you peddling the nonsense are simply dimwits and uncultured. It enforces discipline in schools. I remember most students were running to school to beat time and avoid the cane. Since I hated it, I made sure I was never late, and took very seriously every rule and regulation requiring discipline, and I never changed since!

I had never during my whole education seen any child die from lashes.

Don't you see that we are deviating from the scriptures. Canning is the most effective way to discipline our children. If you take it out, our society is doomed.
