That means that a student who wants to excel in their exams must be willing to give up time spent with friends playing sports, partying, watching football, drastically cut back on time spent on social media and surfing the internet and chasing girls or boys as the case may be. Even attending church every day of the week instead of setting time aside to study for your exams will result in failure and painful disappointment ( this is a specific word to some folk).
For those in employment, in order to get ahead in their career they may have to cut back on certain nonessential expenses, do without some luxury items and study after work rather than watching their favourite TV program.
