  Ghanaians should not be surprised by the unappreciative nature of Ghanaians . An American rap musician JaRule sponsored and built a six block classroom for the youth and instead of showing appreciation, Ghanaians are expressing disappointment in the project. This man has done this project pro bono and he is not even a Ghanaian. He has done for the people what our government failed to do for us . Is that the way to show our appreciation? No wonder those in the diaspora who remit some of their hard earned money to relatives are not appreciated and sometimes met with insults because the remittances do no meet their expectations. People like this will forever wallow in poverty because of their ungratefulness .

  Assistance from various persons may not come in the same shape and magnitude. So let usbe appreciative of what other sacrifice for us. This terrible sense of entitlement will not help us in anyway. If we make fun of Ja Rule's support, who knows how many people we annoy or scare f4om assisting other school projects?

  Ghanaians are never grateful for an assistance that comes our way. Imagine the school under trees and a someone volunteered to build a six units classroom block and we don't appreciate it. Have we asked ourselves the other projects he is undertaking in other countries, we should show appreciation when people come to our aid.
