1.There are no shortcuts to success or wealth.The process or journey to success is often a long one and requires that we endure hardship and discipline and sacrifice today in order to have a very enjoyable and secure tomorrow.
2.Great people learn the importance of being frugal(i.e living within or below their means.They economize, they budget carefully and they watch their expenditure closely. They never waste time money or effort TRYING TO LOOK SUCCESSFUL OR RICH.Rather the apply themselves to their work,vocation and career and through discipline eventually ACHIEVE AND MAINTAN SUCCESS.
3.They learn the importance of humility and learn from their mistakes. They learn from others and develop great neworking skills.They learn through the hardships and self-denial that is part of the process to cope and overcome adversity and setbacks.TEMPORARY SETBACKS OR ADVERSITY ARE INEVITABLE IN THE MARATHON JORNEY TO SUCCESS WHETHER IN CAREER ,VOCATION AND EVEN IN MARRIAGE.THEY DON'T EASILY GIVE UP.
4.Many great people realise very early that they have to be reliant on God Almighty for their success and they strive to live to please Him
5.I have noticed that many great people are kind and generous with the wealth which they earned through hard honest work. Virtually all of these kind-hearted and generous and succesful folk were by nature so long before they became wealthy or great.
FINALLY MEDITATE ON THESE ETERNAL TRUTHS: Proverbs Chapter 11 verses 24-25 24. One person gives freely, yet gains even more;another withholds unduly, but comes to poverty.25 a generous person will prosper;whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.
WHAT THESE VERSES ARE SAYING IS THAT WE DON'T BECOME GENEROUS ONLY AFTER WE BECOME RICH OR SUCCESSFUL BUT THAT HAVING A GENEROUS SPIRIT (EVEN WHEN WE HAVE LITTLE) WILL RESULT IN US ATTRACTING GOD'S BLESSINGS (WHICH CAN BE MANIFEST IN A VERY WIDE VARIETY OF WAYS INCLUDING FINANCIAL SECURITY,PEACE ETC ETC).
GENEROSITY IS AN ATTITUDE OF THE HEART.
If we realize this then we will not devote all our effort trying to deceive,trying to take advantage of others,scamming others in order to obtain wealth.Those who behave in this way will always attract the curse of poverty.The very money,wealth or success they scammed or deceived others to obtain will be lost in a thousand different ways sooner or later.Being generous with ill-gotten wealth never attracts a blessing in the long run.
