  Ifeel your pain, especially when someone you have respected and loved for years refuses to understand or believe your story. But you cannot also kill yourself for something you know nothing about. It may be painful but it's not your fault. Disregard and clear your head from the allegation and move on. Unless she has proof that you killed her son your friend.

  It's Ghana, where everything is attributed to bad luck or evil because of the endemic nature of sikaduro mentality which is real. Once that lady sticks to that narrative, he's done for; her feelings and badmouthing would be echoed over and over and manipulated to make this guy look really bad. Moving away is not an option either.
  
  What he could do is get his own parents to talk to the lady and warn her of consequences if she continues to tarnish his name without proof.
