Jerry Rawlings sold over 200 state companies, most pf them factories, between 1993 and 2000. Some of them including several GNTC, Nsawam Cannery and GIHOC assets were sold to his own wife Nana Konadu and her 31st December Women's Movement. Unfortunately, Rawlings died so piecefully after killing hundreds of Ghanaians for no reasonable cause. His offsprings will bear the cross of their parents sins.

Wofa KSM, asem paaa oooh. Today Ghana imports tyres whiles our own Bonsa tyres factory lies rotten in the western region. Check the Aboso Glass factory, the only sugar factory we can boost of is lying idle as a result of greedy Ghanaian stomach politicians. They closed down the only Gold refinery in west Africa and turned it into hostel. Railway lines has now become galamsay sites by the same stomach politicians. We are lucky today that Akosombo dam has not become baptism pool. No wonder the only national airline flight now a restaurant. Ghana tweaaa kai.

President Kuffuor’s government spent millions to establish oil palm plantations, where are they now? Most likely sold off, felled, tapped and used to distill akpeteshie for our young men and women to drink and die young. Atta/JM government 2009-2016 abandoned it,Nana Addo who sat in Cabinet when the decision was taken to establish the plantations never mentioned it anywhere, meanwhile Unilever and others are importing palm oil for their operations so the recent so-called Economic Dialogue is nothing but a scam.

According to your own statement, the factories had to be sole because they were not viable economically, which could explain why private investors were not willing to acquire it, meaning that the only option left was to release it to anyone who was willing to at least pay something for it so that whatever is recouped could be used for the winding up process.
The mismanagement on the side of government is a separate issue from who the eventual owners were. If the churches found it useful to buy what them and there were no other prospective buys, then you can't blame the churches for that. Except that you have a bias against churches because you're an atheist.
The misbehavior of certain false churches is also a different matter. Neither the Bible nor the church is against hardwotk, in fact you'll find many many scriptures encouraging hardwork and condemning laziness. The Bible says 6 days you shall work and rest on the 7th day, God himself created the world in 6 days and ceased from His creative work on the 7th day, yet He still continued the sustaining work of creation. Jesus said 'my Father is working till this day and I am working. You will not find a single verse in the Bible encouraging laziness and discouraging work.
This man is just conflating issues to create a false narrative against the church and it's absolutely ridiculous. That's what atheists do, lie about the church and the Lord Jesus Christ to boost their useless pride. Every single thing he says about Christianity is empty cus he doesn't know what Christianity even is and he doesn't know the Bible.

Painfully ignorant comments yet again, you're spewing garbage propaganda. You have no idea what you're talking about but like the typical Atheist of these evil times you make ludicrous accusations and then pat yourself on the back for being the smart ones. We're not impressed by your ignorance. You obviously are not privy to the many many archeological and historical evidence of the Christian faith, and you slander the church. What about the many schools hospitals, charities etc established by missionaries in Ghana. You hypocrites! What has your useless atheists community done for Ghana. Load of rubbish.
Which crusaders? Your own people; politicians and chiefs have been milking the majority of the population for decades but you're willfully blind to that, you hypocrite!
