RIP Mr Osibisa. Your legacy is great, legendary Teddy Osei. Though it's not mentioned in the report where you gave up the ghost, I guess it happened in London.
May you rest peacefully in bosom of the Lord

STILL PLAYING OSIBISA SONGS
They made me appreciate my culture in the early 1970s, wearing batakari, ahenemma sandals and even one stage tyre sandals. I will continue to play this group's song. One time I became an expert about the group, educating my friends about the group make ups. Gone are Kiki Gyan, Mac Tontoh and now , the leader, Teddy Osei Lasisi Amao,Spatacus and Sol Amarfio.
Only a few of them are alive.

Another founding member was Loughty Lasisi Amao (saxophone and congas) who, also, died (from gunshot wounds after an altercation with a neighbour). Then there were members like Paul Golly (lead guitar) and Jake Solo (lead guitar).
