It is up to them to invest in their craft and not government. Create and sell your own craft, but the sad thing is they don't even pay taxes on their earnings. Everything government, why?

It's one of the most nonesense initiave in this 4th republic..ghana don't need any rubbish year of return..nana addo ended up giving free citizenship to people who even just came for holidays in ghana..nana addo made presidency so cheap and that's why npp lost the election.Ghana dont need any year of return..Ghana needs infrastructure development, Ghana needs good roads, ghana needs good hospitals, ghana youth needs good paying jobs..you are president for ghana, you are not president for africa, you are not president for foreigners..so the moment u shift from your focus, u are more likely to loose in touch with ghanaIANS..nana addo was so focused on impressing foreigners coming from the diaspora other than adressing the basic needs of ghanaians..year of return is totally rubbish program..IF U DEVELOP YOUR COUNTRY AND YOUR PEOPLE, foreigners will be rushiung to come to your country..dubai developed their infrasturcture and their people before inviting foreigners into their country..GHANA still have terrible roads, poor internet connections, majority of the youth dont have jobs, yet as a president, u keep up wiuth such a useless program called year of return when u can't even provide the basic needs of your citizens..prez mahama, please make sure that rubbish program is cancelled year of return..its a totral garbage..develop your infrastructure, develop your indigineous citizen to get a better paying jobs..then later on, foreigners will start to trrop to ghana..devt automatically attracts people..so u should not worry about any year of return

  Ghanaians want to travel to Dubai, singapore, usa, canada, Japan, south africa, china etc, not because their president invited them, but because their govt has developed their country and their human resources..so u are even happy to travel there..after the year of retrun was launched, it was enough..now the next step is how do i develop my infrastructure..govt should be focused on developing its country's infrastructure and the citizens..that should be the #1 priority and not be placing inviting some foreigners it;s priority when vast majority of your people can't even afford food, shelter and transportation..the way accra is going, i wont be surprised if the local Ghanaians are pushed out of accra and major cities in ghana since govt is more interested in foreigners coming into the country

Why don't you continue with the year of return program which was by far so successful that is already known and being discovered by new tourist especially USA and UK . So will every government change by the name of agenda seriously then we will not move forward oo
