Precious belongings can be take out at will because such a broken house is a "free for all". All manner of misfortunes can visit such a house: financial problems, diseases , social dysfunction.
Such homes are far more likely to produce children who grow up with varying degrees of dysfunction unless the good Lord intervenes in their lives.
