  This is why it is always a good idea to judge people by their actions and behaviour when they are not performing on a public platform.
  What are they like in private during day to day interactions? Always put aside their titles,public image ,"charisma"or profession when assessing them as a person. I don't care if they are a "Man of God" ,sing in a choir,teach in a sunday school, are gospel artists ,come from a decent and respected family , belong to the same fraternity as yourself or belong to one of the so-called noble professions.
  WHAT REALLY COUNTS IS WHAT THEY ARE REALLY LIKE AS A PERSON?
  WHAT IS THEIR CHARACTER LIKE? And this why getting to know people by observing and interacting with them over a period of time is soooo important. I learned a long time ago not to rush into friendships. It is far better and very prudent to have a few good friends than numerous superficial friends (some of whom will inevitably turn out to be your enemies or at least your secret detractors). It is better to have a few tried and tested honest friends, ones who are not afraid to speak the truth in love when you get out of order without back-biting or spreading evil gossip about you. Beware of envious jealous and especially covetous friends and relations. Many so-called friends are only out to get something out of you.In good friendships there is a true sharing of goodwill, sharing of pain and mutal rejoicing when one has a success story to share.
