Unwise for either side to engage in direct contacts AT THIS STAGE.Hope Salifu Amoaku's solicitors are giving him good advice regarding this matter.His attempts to "reach out" to the grieving families could be easily interpreted as attempts,albeit subtle to influence the course of events in Amoaku's favour.Being seen to be grovelling in public can be seen as an attempt to influence public opinion. Needless to say if Mr Amoaku was an Joe Ordinary on the street I doubt very much that all those celebrity religious leaders and media personalities queing up to speak on his behalf would be so concerned about Joe Ordinary.
My advise to he and his supporters- the best thing you can do is to keep still and pray for God's mercy and for God to comfort the deeply sorrowful families, but above all when the dust has settled and the Law has run its course that is when any attempts to reach out to the devasted family would have any real or genuine impact.Right now any moves by Amoako will look blatantly self-serving.
