  When those who are supposed to know pretends, what follows is chaos. Parliament acted according to their rules and the Speaker rightly announced his position on Thursday. Another arm of government (the judiciary) also within 24 hours halted the decision of Parliament until the issue before it is determined and we have people pretending not to understand the law. In fact m, it would be in the interest of the executive if the NDC defy the court order. It's like the NDC playing the ball into the hands of the President who controls all the security agencies. It's like giving a blank cheque to the president with about 50 days to an election. To me if all the legal requirements were met by the speaker, I support such a position because one cannot eat his/her cake and still have but if a speaker is granted such powers without any requirements, then one day, a Speaker may do worse unilaterally. If the requirements of the law is for every accused to be granted a a hearing and the Soeaker acted without this requirement, then he lost an opportunity for his party by not just requesting to hear from the offenders. I hear people questioned why the court could seat within a short notice to hear this case but not LGBTQ+ suit. The answer is simple. When a constitutional crisis arises, it urgency override all other cases because the impact of such crisis affect even the court. Example is the Election petition hearing. There were thousands of cases at the court before the petition but that issue superceded all outstanding cases and was therefore heard urgently. Democrats must always defend the law not individuals. When we win, Ghana democracy is good but when we lose, everyone is bed but me.

The NPP has packed state institutions with their sympathizers and they are misapplying justice to the people!

  The NDC will challenge this bogus ruling of the Supreme Court on Monday and I’m sure they’ll not relinquish the majority seats to the NPP MPs. The constitution is clear on this and we aren’t going to sit down and allow the judiciary acting on the political line destroyed our democracy. Sometimes dumb heads Ghanaians talk as if akufo addo is an imaginary person who must always get his wish in a shit hole country like Ghana. When other African countries are moving forward we are still stuck with the devils who are bend on continuously sitting on our progress for much longer. Kenya just impeached their vice president for various offenses. But here in Ghana SATAN akufo addo and his evil vice president are still walking as free men after all the stealing, misappropriation, judgment debts and the list goes on and on. If akufo addo want to exit power with disgrace he should try it on we the owners of the land.
