You have a point, Mr. alleged celebrated homosexual. Ghana, as a country, is sick and backward. There is no civilized system that runs the country, and the stupid conditions in the country make it fertile for gluttonous and atrocious political rogues to loot whatever the country can offer. Ghana, indeed, is a terrible place to live.

Nothing stops anyone , a farmer, musician, mason, electrician, banku seller, waakye seller, tailor, seamstress, taxi driver, in Ghana to periodically contribute into his/her own SSNIT Accounts.
Self employment does not forbid any Ghanaian to contribute into the SSNIT which is the same in the Western countries.
The declaration of your incomes does not well with you musicians and others and that is the knot which must be untied.
Truck driving in the USA is mostly private employment just like taxi driving. However, they all declare their annual incomes to the SSA (Social Security Administration) for the deductions and payments of their respective social security contributions.
You the musicians choose to blow and splash cash as if there is no tomorrow and you must learn to change.
