If they really cared they could have gone to the various sites of the galamsey and evict them from there by demonstrating against them and clamping on them. Don’t sit in Accra and spew trash.

  If the protesters went to the galamsey sites to evict the Galamseyers themselves, you will claim that too is lawlessness and they should let the police do that job. But the police are not doing that job and rather protecting ...

  If the protesters went to the galamsey sites to evict the Galamseyers themselves, you will claim that too is lawlessness and they should let the police do that job. But the police are not doing that job and rather protecting the galamseyers instead. The water bodies being polluted with lead, mercury and arsenic have tributaries that flow all the way to Accra and other parts of Ghana and eventually empty into the sea where seafood is also sourced. However, it doesn't end there. The very soil used to grow foods are also being poisoned with heavy metal toxins in the process. So it doesn't matter where you live in Ghana, the impact of Galamsey will impact all citizens. The people in Govt. were elected to protect citizens from these issues, so if protesters are being arrested for lawlessness then certainly, those doing galamsey must also be arrested for doing FAR FAR WORSE. But the govt. seems to have more police on the protesters than the galamsey sites where the water bodies and food sources of 32 Million Ghanaians are actively being POISONED. Why?

Our Judicial system is totally corrupt and most of our judges, especially the unanimous 9 and those hand-picked and packed at High, Appeal and Suppreme Courts any nothing but corrupt and party fool soldiers. No justice for these innocent and peaceful demonstrators. KARMA is just beach. She is patiently waiting to strike.
