  What our young folk lack is the ability to postpone enjoyment in order to have a better tomorrow.They all want to get rich quick and by the shortest route possible. For sure this Safo Katanka chap had a great start compared to the vast majority of Ghanaians.He talks of an "allowance" from his parents. To his credit he did not let this get to his head.
  I want to address those (the great majority) who will have to start from ZERO,with little or no parental help.These are the one who need to understand that the only way they can become successful or reach the top and STAY THERE is through 1.HARD WORK,2.CAREFUL PLANNING( i.e. setting realistic ,achievable goals for themselves and then step by step working hard to get there over time),3.PATIENCE, 4.BEING TENACIOUS AND PERSISTENT(you don't easily give up but learn from your mistakes and setbacks ,pick yourself up from the dust if you stmble or fall and press on)5.BEING HONEST OR HAVING INTEGRITY (this is where many fall flat because they are so much in a hurry to become rich that they will break the law,cheat or deceive others,practice bribery and corruption- having integrity will let you stay where you are when you get to the top)
  5.THE MAIN REASON MOST PEOPLE FAIL IN THE EARLY STAGES OF THEIR CAREER OR PROFESSIONAL LIFE IS BECAUSE THEY DON'T PRACTICE DELAYED GRATIFICATION.As soon as they begin to make money or earn their first profit they immediately start to increase their spending on themselves and their family- they splash out on cars,clothing ,jewelry,they get into the party life ,all with the aim of impressing people.They commit the first mistake of most aspiring business men , entrepreneurs or aspring entertainment or sports personalities- THEY DON'T ALLOW THEIR PROFITS TO GROW AND BLOW IT ALL AWAY AS FAST AS THE EARN IT. THEY DON'T REALIZE THE CRITICAL IMPORTANCE OF BEING FRUGAL AND ECONOMIZING SO THAT THEIR BUSINESSES CAN GROW.6.THEY LACK DISCIPLINE.LOOKING RICH IS FAR MORE IMPORTANT TO THEM THAN ACTUALLY BEING RICH. LOOKING RICH IS EASY ESPECIALLY BECAUSE OF SOCIAL MEDIA.BEING GENUINELY RICH IS HARDER AND TAKES TIME AND REAL DISCIPLINE.LACK OF DISCIPLINE CAUSES MANY BUSINESS MEN AND WOMEN,ENTREPREUNERS AND MANY SO-CALLED "CELEBRITIES " TO QUICKLY GO BROKE AT THE EARLY STAGES OF THEIR CAREER.
  Wise people invest in things that increase in value over time.Spending a fortune on cars ,clothing etc will impress your friends, relatives and acquaintances but will not help yOur bank account.In contrast investing WISELY in a real business, properties (real estate),stocks and shares ,Bonds ,Land will cause your wealth to grow.
  STILL BY FAR THE BEST INVESTMENT OF ALL IS TO INVEST IN YOUR RELATIONSHOIP WITH GOD, THEN YOUR WIFE AND CHILDREN AND BEING A BLESSING TO OTHERS- We call that vesting for eternity.Good old RIGHTEOUSNESS still pays very well.

Your wealth and your health can disappear overnight but when God remains your NUMBER ONE SOURCE THEN YOU ARE ON A TRULY FIRM FOUNDATION.Our RESOURCES(WEALTH ,ASSETS,SKILLS,ETC) MUST NEVER EVER REPLACE OUR NUMBER ONE SOURCE WHICH IS GOD BECAUSE OUR RESOURCES CAN DISAPPEAR BUT GOD IS CONSTANT AND UNCHANGING AND DEPENDABLE AS THE HOLY SCRIPTURES REVEAL.GODLINESS AND RIGHTEOUSNESS gives great returns on our investment in our PERSONAL relationship with God , the creator of Heaven and Earth. Regular attendance to Church by itself won't do it.Generous donations to church won't do it either.
