How does your explanation make the claim in the article untrue?
He is living on another planet. The author of the story is right. These women are all side chicks especially if they have children the case even becomes worse. They are used and thrown out just within few weeks

If you understand how statistics and inferential analysis work, then you will know that drawing conclusions based on 80 percent of the outcome of your sample is not entirely valid as you have 20% of the data not in agreement. ...
