  One film in Ghana employs 500 people? The film industry employs 250,000 people? For where? How much is the budget for a film in Ghana? Even Hollywood and Bollywood don't employ 500 per film. You people should stop hyping yourselves. These are the things you do to put people off from investing in the industry. Imagine I want to produce a single film and you are telling me cast and crew is around 500 do you expect me to come forward? Never. Our neighbours are now scripting 5 or 6 characters in films and using 10 to 15 people as crew and they're produce good films and you sit there talking about 500 people per film? Wow. No doubt our film industry is going down. And I always wonder why you guys are always looking up to the government to come in. For what? Every film industry strive on good scripts with suspense coupled with very good cat and crew. Untill that is done forget it. Talking about marketing you products, now listen, how many film theatres do we have in the country? Who buys CDs nowadays when YouTube, netflix and other streaming platforms are there? What exit plans do you guys have for the old faces who are refusing to leave for the up and coming actor to take the mantle? Look at how our neighbours keep introduce new faces and that is keeping them going. You want cheap things so you will keep producing sub-standard films. All producers and the so called directors want already cooked actors that is why you keep recycling actors who are not even refined and can't even interprete the characters. You use directors who can't even transform novices and don't understand the script they work on. I can go on and on. You guys will need to go back to the drawing board and rearrange yourselves and come back again. Forget about the government and investors and start in a very small way. Get good scripts. Bring new faces and have good technical crew. As for actors good directors can transform whoever is interested. Have a good production conference, do a good analysis and interpretation, Ask your performers who they are in the script and you hear things for yourself. If the cast and crew don't understand the script forget it. I will stop here and have you ponder over this piece. I wish you good luck. Untill I come your way again stay bless.
