  Ephesians 5:17 Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is. 18 And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit, 19 speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, 20 giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, 21 submitting to one another in the fear of God.
  
  What advice/inspiration/motivation/encouragement can ANY secular song/musician give you that the Holy Spirit of God cannot?. These are childish excuses to keep one foot in the world and the other in the church,which is actually hypocrisy. You as a gospel musician should know the power of music to influence people,and that there are only 2 sources of influence in this world;God or Satan. Friendship with the world is enmity with God. Do not love the world neither the things in the world.
  
  It’s about time you people stop the HYPOCRISY of trying to mix up the church of The Lord Jesus Christ with your own worldly desires, confusing unbelievers in the process. You’ll give an account to God for the way you use the gifts that he’s given you. Do you need stone boy and black sherif or whatever to give you wisdom for life?. If you can’t get counsel from God’s word and the Spirit of the living God, so that you have to turn to people devoid of the wisdom of God for so-called advice then you better examine yourself to see whether you are in the faith.
