As part of the 24-hour economy initiative in creative arts. Hahaha. Even if I don't like John Dramani that shouldn't cloud my judgment about his policies. But, as for this 24-hour economy thing, anyone who applies logic will know that it's implementation will be synonymous to dragging a donkey who is not thirsty to the river to drink water. Local companies and businesses have been struggling to break through the international market. Even the local consumption is 'nothing to write home about', which is the reason why they're not doing 24/7. Then you have a flagbearer promising to support them with the capital and incentives to recruit more people to produce more, and national security to operate 24/7. No business can survive or sustain its employees if it produces what they can't sell. In short, they are going to take the incentives, hire more to produce more, and layoff workers the next year because they couldn't sell. The end result will be 'bad debt' on the state as businesses wouldn't be able to repay loans back to the state. So, the next time the NDC are struggling to explain the 24-hour economy know that they themselves don't know what they are talking about. And remember what I just told you.

If I were a local entrepreneur, I would support the manifesto which provides clear policy to drive demand and business-friendly environment to propel me to expand my operations. Not the one who comes with a "Wholesale" 24-hour economy policy without first dealing with 'ab initio' issues of business operation! It doesn't work like that.

Where there's excess capacity due to demand local or foreign, the policy would be a viable window of opportunity. 4. That's not rocket science, is it? 5. That's not far-fetched or preposterous, is it?
